From 10th to 21st May, Ryochi Suzuki,
Deputy Executive Director, JOICFP, was in Bangladesh as a
JICA short-term expert.
From 22nd to 24th May, Aiko Iijima,
Member, Governing Council, IPPF, was in London to attend an
IPPF Board Meeting.
From 20th to 29th May, Kei Yoshidome,
Program Officer, JOICFP was in the Philippines to advise the
management of the Capiz Youth Camp.
From 10th to 31st May, Yoshitatsu
Kanno, Senior Program Officer, JOICFP, and from 18th May to
5th June, Yukio Homma, Director, China Program, JOICFP, were
in China as part of two JICA expert teams providing project
guidance.
On 2nd June, nine participants of
a JICA Group Training in Countermeasures for Improvement of
Maternal and Child Health Indices II were in JOICFP for training.
From 20th May to 11th June, Nobuhiro
Kadoi was in Tanzania, Zambia and Ghana for preparation of
a UNFPA regional project.
From 30th May to 11th June, Ryoko
Nishida, Director, and Ryoko Koshihara, Program Officer, International
Program, JOICFP, were in Myanmar to prepare for a JICA project.
From 26th May to 12th June, Tomoko
Fukuda, Program Officer, JOICFP, was in Myanmar and Laos for
project monitoring.
On 15th June, Dr. Zahidul Huque,
Representative, UNFPA Philippines, was in JOICFP for information
exchange.
From 6th to 17th June, Hideyuki
Takahashi, Director, Hiromitsu Miyajiri, Assistant Program
Officer, and Nobue So, Program Assistant, Resource and Development
Campaign, JOICFP, were in Tanzania to conduct a study tour,
and then in London to meet with IPPFrepresentatives.
From 8th to 17th June, Sumie Ishii,
Executive Director, Mariko Homma, Senior Program Officer,
and Yoshikazu Sayama, Director, Accounting, JOICFP, accompanied
Yuko Arimori, UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador, on an advocacy mission
to India.
