- During 16th August to 6th September, Ryoko Nishida, Director, and Ryoko Koshihara, Program Officer, International Program, JOICFP, were in Myanmar to prepare for PROTECO (DOH/JICA/JOICFP). Koshihara continued to stay to September 30th.

- From 5th to 9th September, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, JOICFP, was in Malaysia to attend a steering committee meeting preparing for the Third Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive and Sexual Health, to be held in November 2005 in Malaysia.

- From 29th August to 11th September, Etsuko Yamaguchi, Assistant Program Officer, International Program, JOICFP, joined by Ryoko Nishida, Director, International Program, (Sept. 7th to 11th) was in Myanmar to monitor the progress of JOICFP projects supported by UNFPA and the Packard Foundation.

- From 29th August to 16th September, 12 senior RH officers from ten countries attended a JOICFP organized seminar, entrusted by JICA, on NGO sustainability and advocacy.

-From 29th to 30th September, Ryoko Nishida, Director, JOICFP, was in New York to discuss UNFPA/JOICFP programs at UNFPA headquarters.

- From 30th September to 3rd October, 11 medical officers and government officials from three African countries attended a seminar at JOICFP on community-based maternal and child health.

- On 5th October, Kunio Waki, Deputy Executive Director, UNFPA, visited JOICFP to exchange information.
