On 17th October, JOICFP met with the World Bank in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to give a presentation on "Innovations in Information Communication for Development."

Around 30 participants from various organizations and individuals took part, including universities, journalists, government, NGOs and communication companies.

JOICFP explained how its information communication technology (ICT) contributes to development issues in the field of information, education and communication, and behavior change communication (IEC/BCC), explaining its Communication Strategy Power Model, Multi-solution Technology, and 'assetizing' technology as examples.

JOICFP also presented application examples of ICT successes, such as increasing VCT uptake, promoting male participation, youth initiative advocacy, and youth empowerment.

The presentation was a good opportunity to show that JOICFP's technology is applicable to areas other than RH, and there were several requests by interested parties for training by JOICFP in information communication technology.
