This project aimed to enforce communication skills and activities in the field of adolescent sexual and reproductive health with close collaboration among UNFPA Country Offices in Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru. The communication skills training workshop was conducted by JOICFP using communication expertise for program managers and youth representatives from the four countries in Mexico in May 2006. After the workshop, the youth representatives trained other young people in communication skills, and these experiences and lessons learned were shared at the regional meeting held in Nicaragua in July 2007. This information and application examples were documented and shared with other countries.
